NORTH CHICAGO, Illinois, USA – June 8, 2026
AbbVie has announced the presentation of new clinical and translational research data across its hematologic oncology portfolio at the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2026 Congress, highlighting advances in multiple myeloma, follicular lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and amyloidosis. The company is presenting 21 oral and poster presentations, including six oral presentations, showcasing both approved therapies and investigational candidates designed to address some of the most challenging blood cancers. The extensive dataset reinforces AbbVie’s leadership in hematologic malignancies and underscores its commitment to developing innovative treatment strategies that improve outcomes for patients with relapsed, refractory, and difficult-to-treat cancers. Featured programs include EPKINLY® (epcoritamab), VENCLEXTA® (venetoclax), DECNUPAZ™ (pivekimab sunirine-pvzy), and the investigational BCMA-targeted therapy etentamig (ABBV-383), reflecting the breadth and depth of AbbVie’s expanding oncology pipeline.
Epcoritamab Data Demonstrate Strong Potential Across Lymphoma Subtypes
Among the most significant findings presented at EHA 2026 are new data supporting the continued advancement of epcoritamab, AbbVie and Genmab’s CD3xCD20 bispecific antibody. In the Phase 3 EPCORE FL-1 trial, epcoritamab combined with lenalidomide and rituximab demonstrated impressive efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma across multiple clinically relevant subgroups. Overall response rates exceeded 90% in both lower-risk and higher-risk patient populations while maintaining a favorable safety profile consistent with previous studies.
Additional results from the Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-1 trial showed that epcoritamab significantly improved progression-free survival compared with investigator-selected chemoimmunotherapy in relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma. Patients treated with epcoritamab achieved higher complete response rates and substantially longer durations of response, reinforcing the therapy’s growing role in modern lymphoma treatment. Long-term follow-up analyses further demonstrated durable remissions extending beyond four years in selected patient populations, highlighting the potential for long-lasting clinical benefit.
Venetoclax and Investigational Programs Expand Treatment Opportunities
AbbVie is also presenting important updates from multiple studies evaluating venetoclax-based treatment strategies in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia. New analyses from the landmark GAIA/CLL13 and CLL14 Phase 3 studies provide further evidence supporting fixed-duration venetoclax regimens and the role of genetic biomarkers in predicting long-term treatment outcomes. Real-world findings from the REVIVE study additionally offer new insights into optimizing venetoclax-based therapy in AML patients who are not eligible for intensive chemotherapy.
Beyond approved medicines, AbbVie highlighted encouraging progress for etentamig (ABBV-383), an investigational BCMA-targeted immunotherapy being evaluated in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma and light-chain amyloidosis. New safety and efficacy data suggest continued promise for patients who have previously received BCMA-targeted therapies. The company also shared findings from studies evaluating pivekimab sunirine-pvzy, an investigational therapy for blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN), further strengthening its presence across multiple hematologic cancer indications.
Expanding Leadership in Hematologic Oncology Innovation
The breadth of AbbVie’s EHA 2026 presentations reflects the company’s long-term strategy of building a diversified oncology portfolio spanning both approved therapies and next-generation investigational medicines. Through a combination of bispecific antibodies, targeted small molecules, antibody-drug conjugates, and novel immunotherapy approaches, AbbVie continues to pursue innovative solutions for patients facing complex blood cancers with significant unmet medical needs. Company leadership emphasized that the latest data demonstrate ongoing progress toward improving treatment outcomes while addressing key challenges such as disease relapse, treatment resistance, and long-term durability of response.
As competition intensifies across hematologic oncology, AbbVie’s extensive clinical program positions the company as a major contributor to the future of precision cancer treatment. The EHA 2026 presentations further highlight how continued investment in translational science and clinical research is helping to expand therapeutic options and advance the standard of care for patients worldwide living with blood cancers.
