Insightec announced that more than 10,000 patients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) have now been treated with its Exablate Neuro platform using MR-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) for essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease. The milestone marks a significant expansion of the company’s medical technology platform in the region, where treatment volumes have more than doubled over the past three years. Insightec’s technology is now available at more than 62 treatment centers across 20 EMEA countries, reflecting growing adoption of incisionless focused ultrasound as an option for patients with movement disorders. The company said the EMEA milestone forms part of a broader global footprint, with more than 30,000 patients treated using Exablate technology worldwide. The growth highlights increasing adoption of MRgFUS among healthcare providers while also drawing attention to continuing differences in access and reimbursement across individual EMEA markets.
Exablate Neuro Expands Clinical Adoption

Insightec is therefore working with health authorities, clinical societies, patient organizations, healthcare systems, and government bodies to support broader adoption and more sustainable treatment pathways. Chairman and CEO Maurice Ferré emphasized that geographic location should not determine whether an appropriate treatment option is available to a patient. The company views broader and more equitable access as a key objective for its next stage of growth, alongside increasing the number of patients treated annually and expanding availability into additional markets.
