Veeva Systems has announced Veeva Falcon Safety, an agentic safety operations product designed to streamline adverse event intake, case processing, and follow-up for biopharmaceutical companies. Announced on September 1, 2026, in Pleasanton, California, the solution is designed to work with all E2B-compliant safety systems, extending beyond Veeva’s own safety platform to support systems such as Oracle Argus and ArisGlobal LifeSphere MultiVigilance. The company says Falcon Safety is intended to help biopharma organizations reduce costs, increase processing speed, and maintain compliance while managing safety information across different intake channels. The product is part of Veeva AI, the company’s industry-specific artificial intelligence offering for life sciences, and is planned for early adopter availability in November 2026.
Falcon Safety Targets Adverse Event Management
The introduction of Falcon Safety addresses a major operational area in pharmacovigilance, where companies must collect, process, assess, and follow up on information concerning suspected adverse events associated with medicines and other regulated products. Veeva said Falcon Safety will provide intake and follow-up management across any E2B-compliant safety system, allowing organizations to use the new agentic capabilities without necessarily replacing their existing safety infrastructure. The interoperability approach includes compatibility with Veeva Safety, Oracle Argus, and ArisGlobal LifeSphere MultiVigilance, according to the company. E2B standards support the electronic exchange of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory authorities, making compatibility with E2B-compliant environments particularly relevant to global drug-safety operations. Veeva’s existing Safety platform manages the intake, processing, and submission of adverse events for clinical and post-marketed products, including medicines, biologics, vaccines, devices, and combination products. Falcon Safety expands the company’s AI strategy into these safety workflows by focusing on automation and agentic execution. Rather than limiting AI to individual assistance functions, the product is positioned to help coordinate multi-step safety operations, potentially reducing repetitive manual work associated with processing safety cases and follow-up activities.
E2B Interoperability Expands AI Safety Potential
A key feature of Falcon Safety is its ability to operate across different E2B-compliant safety databases, rather than being restricted to one vendor ecosystem.
