Fort Lauderdale, Fla., July 17, 2026
SS Innovations International announced that its SSi Mantra surgical robotic system will be showcased at the 2026 Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS) Annual Meeting, taking place July 23–26 in Hollywood, Florida. The advanced robotic platform will be displayed throughout the conference, featured in multiple educational sessions, and used in a live kidney telesurgery broadcast demonstrating its remote surgical capabilities.
Live International Telesurgery to Demonstrate Remote Robotic Surgery
A key highlight of SRS 2026 will be a live partial nephrectomy telesurgery, performed remotely by Dr. Amitabh Singh from SS Innovations’ headquarters in Gurugram, India, on a patient at Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in New Delhi. The procedure will showcase the SSi Mantra’s telesurgery capabilities and its potential to expand access to advanced robotic surgical care across geographic boundaries.
Leadership to Highlight Advances in Robotic Surgery
SS Innovations Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sudhir Srivastava will participate as a speaker and panelist in several conference sessions covering cardiac telesurgery, global access to robotic surgery, robotic innovation in Asia, regulatory frameworks for telesurgery, industry perspectives, and military applications. The company will also present the SSi Mantra’s modular design, surgeon-friendly interface, advanced imaging capabilities, and cost-efficient approach aimed at increasing worldwide adoption of robotic-assisted surgery.
Growing Clinical Adoption Across Multiple Specialties
As of July 6, 2026, the SSi Mantra platform has been used to perform 12,375 multi-specialty surgical procedures, including 653 cardiac surgeries, 178 telesurgeries, and 225 pediatric procedures. More than 2,100 physicians have been trained on the system, which supports over 170 different surgical procedures using a comprehensive portfolio of robotic instruments, reinforcing SS Innovations’ strategy to expand affordable and accessible robotic surgery globally.
