Gravity Diagnostics, a CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified laboratory, has been named the exclusive laboratory partner of Sure Med Compliance, a digital health company focused on clinical and compliance support for pain management and substance use disorder providers. The partnership is designed to strengthen laboratory testing guidance, clinical decision-making, patient outcomes, and healthcare cost management by integrating Gravity Diagnostics’ laboratory results into Sure Med Compliance’s Perspectives in Care (PiC) platform. The collaboration brings diagnostic testing information together with longitudinal patient data and testing guidance, providing participating healthcare providers with a more comprehensive view of patients at the point of care.
Integrated Laboratory Data to Support Clinical Decisions
Under the partnership, Gravity Diagnostics’ diagnostic testing results will be integrated into the PiC Summary Report, allowing treating providers to access a rolling 12-month history of patient toxicology testing. The report will also provide guidance on recommended testing frequency based on patient risk levels and applicable Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidance, along with recommendations for additional testing that may support patient care. The integrated information is intended to help providers make more informed and appropriately documented testing decisions during routine clinical encounters. Gravity Diagnostics will use its existing electronic health record (EHR) integration infrastructure, allowing the integrated report to be delivered directly into participating providers’ existing EHR systems without custom development costs to individual practices.

The collaboration addresses the growing need for individualized and risk-based laboratory testing in healthcare settings. According to the companies, health plans and government programs increasingly expect laboratory testing to be supported by clinical documentation and aligned with individual patient needs.
