BOSTON, August 5, 2026
CervoMed announced that its management team will participate in a fireside chat and investor meetings during the Canaccord Genuity 46th Annual Growth Conference on August 11, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts. During the presentation, company executives will provide updates on the clinical development of neflamapimod, the company’s lead investigational therapy for age-related neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting recent progress across multiple clinical programs.
Neflamapimod Advances Across Multiple Neurological Disease Programs
Neflamapimod is an investigational oral small-molecule therapy designed to inhibit a key enzyme involved in neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration. The company’s recently completed Phase 2b RewinD-LB study evaluated the therapy in patients with Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB), and CervoMed previously announced alignment with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on a potential registration pathway. The company noted that initiation of a Phase 3 DLB trial remains dependent on securing additional financing or a strategic development partnership.
Pipeline Expands Into Frontotemporal Disorders and ALS
Beyond DLB, CervoMed continues expanding the clinical evaluation of neflamapimod into additional neurodegenerative diseases. The company recently completed enrollment in its ongoing Phase 2a trial for nonfluent variant Primary Progressive Aphasia (nfvPPA), with interim biomarker data expected in early Q4 2026. In addition, the company plans to dose the first patient in the EXPERTS-ALS Phase 2a trial evaluating neflamapimod for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) during the fourth quarter of 2026, further broadening its clinical development strategy.
Investor Conference Highlights Growing Clinical Momentum
The upcoming Canaccord Genuity Growth Conference provides CervoMed with an opportunity to update investors on recent clinical achievements and future development plans for neflamapimod. With regulatory alignment achieved in DLB, ongoing studies in frontotemporal disorders, and expansion into ALS, the company continues advancing its pipeline focused on therapies targeting the underlying mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases.
