Telix Pharmaceuticals and United Imaging Healthcare North America have announced a strategic collaboration to explore the development of integrated theranostics solutions that combine advanced imaging technology, artificial intelligence, and precision radiopharmaceuticals. Through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the companies will evaluate opportunities to improve clinical workflows, enhance imaging standardization, and support personalized cancer care. The collaboration initially focuses on TLX101-Px (Pixclara®, Floretyrosine F 18) in the United States, with the potential to expand into additional imaging agents, therapeutic products, and global markets in the future.
Combining Advanced Imaging and Precision Medicine
Telix and United Imaging will assess how United Imaging’s advanced scanner platforms, software infrastructure, connectivity solutions, and AI technologies can be integrated with Telix’s growing molecular imaging portfolio and established clinical protocols. The goal is to create a more seamless theranostics ecosystem that improves efficiency across diagnostic imaging and treatment planning. By aligning imaging systems with radiopharmaceutical workflows, the companies aim to support consistent imaging performance across healthcare institutions while helping clinicians make more informed treatment decisions through enhanced data integration and analysis.
Focus on Workflow Optimization and AI-Enabled Clinical Support
A major component of the collaboration will involve optimizing imaging protocols and developing workflow support tools designed to streamline theranostic procedures. The companies will evaluate methods for improving treatment planning, disease monitoring, and long-term patient management using advanced software and AI-powered decision support technologies. Integrated solutions may help healthcare providers standardize imaging procedures, improve operational efficiency, and generate more reliable clinical data. Early-stage pilot programs will be launched to validate these workflows in high-impact clinical applications and assess their potential benefits in routine clinical practice.
Building the Future of Personalized Cancer Care
Theranostics continues to emerge as one of the most promising approaches in oncology by combining targeted diagnostics with personalized treatment strategies. Telix and United Imaging believe that closer integration between imaging hardware, software, AI capabilities, and radiopharmaceutical innovation can accelerate adoption and improve patient outcomes. The collaboration reflects a broader industry trend toward data-driven precision medicine, where advanced imaging technologies play a central role in guiding treatment selection and monitoring therapeutic response. If successful, the partnership could establish new standards for theranostic workflows and contribute to the expansion of personalized cancer care across multiple disease areas.
