Mequon, Wisconsin, August 17, 2026
Vector Science and Therapeutics Corp. has entered into an amended and restated exclusive license and manufacturing agreement with LyoGenesis Holdings LLC, securing long-term U.S.-based manufacturing capacity for its proprietary lyophilized peptide-based pharmaceutical products. Effective August 13, 2026, the agreement has an initial term of 10 years and will automatically renew for successive one-year periods unless terminated under its terms. The partnership strengthens Vector’s manufacturing and supply-chain strategy by establishing dedicated production under U.S. Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). LyoGenesis Plus 1 LLC, the manufacturing subsidiary of LyoGenesis, will remain Vector’s exclusive manufacturer at its facility in Mequon, Wisconsin, while quality testing and batch approval will be conducted by LyoGenesis affiliate Verlytix before products are released to Vector.
Long-Term cGMP Manufacturing Capacity Secured
The amended agreement provides Vector with a decade-long manufacturing arrangement for its proprietary peptide platform, creating a foundation for future production scaling. Under the terms, LyoGenesis Plus 1 will manufacture Vector’s lyophilized peptide-based pharmaceutical products at its Wisconsin facility in compliance with U.S. cGMP requirements. The agreement is structured as an exclusive manufacturing relationship, giving Vector a defined production pathway as it advances its peptide-based product portfolio. The company said the long-term arrangement is intended to provide a dependable supply chain and support the expansion of its technology platform. Financial and other commercial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The agreement also establishes that title to products transfers to Vector Science and Therapeutics Operating Corp. upon delivery, providing clarity around product ownership within the manufacturing arrangement.
Quality Testing Supports Product Release
In addition to manufacturing, the agreement incorporates a dedicated quality assurance and testing process. Each batch manufactured by LyoGenesis Plus 1 will undergo inspection and approval by the quality assurance function of Verlytix before being released to Vector. Verlytix, an affiliate of LyoGenesis, provides pharmaceutical and other product testing under cGMP conditions. The inclusion of quality review and batch-release procedures is an important component of the manufacturing framework because it supports oversight of products manufactured under the agreement. By combining U.S.-based cGMP manufacturing with quality testing and batch approval, the arrangement is designed to establish an integrated pathway for production and product release. The agreement follows an earlier arrangement between the parties dated July 6, 2026, which has now been amended and restated through the new 10-year agreement.
Peptide Platform Targets Healthcare Applications
Vector Science and Therapeutics describes itself as a medical technology company focused on drug delivery technology and peptide manufacturing for sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and pain management applications. Its product and intellectual-property portfolio includes technologies involving advanced transdermal delivery, precision catheter systems, localized pain management, pancreatic oncology, and smart wound care. The company said that securing a stable U.S. manufacturing supply chain is an important foundation for scaling its proprietary peptide platform. For cGxP.wire readers, the agreement is particularly relevant because it directly involves cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality testing, peptide-based products, supply-chain security, and manufacturing scalability. The 10-year term provides a long-term framework for production while the involvement of Verlytix adds a defined quality-control component before product release. The agreement also illustrates the importance of establishing reliable manufacturing infrastructure as pharmaceutical and medical technology companies advance proprietary platforms toward larger-scale production. Although the announcement does not disclose specific product development or clinical milestones, the manufacturing agreement represents a significant CMC and pharmaceutical supply-chain development for Vector as it seeks to expand its peptide technology and related healthcare applications.
