Tel Aviv, Israel, November 3, 2026
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. has reported strong growth across its three key innovative medicines, AUSTEDO®, AJOVY® and UZEDY®, delivering a combined year-over-year revenue increase of 33% in local currency during the third quarter of 2026. The company also raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook for all three products, reflecting continued commercial momentum across its neuroscience portfolio. The announcement highlights progress under Teva’s Pivot to Growth strategy, which focuses on expanding innovative medicines, strengthening its generics business, advancing research and development, and improving operational performance. The company’s latest results demonstrate the increasing contribution of innovative products to its overall pharmaceutical business.
AUSTEDO, AJOVY and UZEDY Drive Strong Revenue Growth
During the third quarter of 2026, Teva’s three key innovative brands generated approximately $1.1 billion in combined revenue, representing 33% growth compared with the same period in 2025 in local currency terms. Among these products, AUSTEDO recorded global revenues of $751 million, increasing 21% year over year. AUSTEDO, including AUSTEDO XR, is used to treat adults with tardive dyskinesia and chorea associated with Huntington’s disease. The medicine continued to contribute significantly to Teva’s neuroscience business and remained its largest innovative product by revenue. AJOVY, Teva’s migraine prevention medicine, generated global revenues of $269 million, representing 61% growth in local currency. Its performance reflects continued demand across international markets and the United States. Meanwhile, UZEDY, a long-acting injectable formulation of risperidone used for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults, generated $85 million in revenue, marking an impressive 96% year-over-year increase. Growth across these three products demonstrates Teva’s expanding commercial presence in neurological and psychiatric treatment markets.
Teva Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook and Expands Its Portfolio
Following the strong third-quarter performance, Teva increased its full-year 2026 revenue expectations for AUSTEDO, AJOVY and UZEDY. The company now expects AUSTEDO revenues of $2.55 billion to $2.65 billion, compared with its previous forecast of $2.45 billion to $2.60 billion. The outlook for AJOVY has increased to $930 million to $960 million, from the earlier range of $850 million to $870 million. For UZEDY, Teva raised its expected revenue range to $290 million to $310 million, compared with the previous estimate of $270 million to $290 million. Beyond these three medicines, Teva is also working to strengthen its neuroscience portfolio through new product launches and business development activities. In October 2026, the company received U.S. FDA approval for WELTRUZA™, expanding its long-acting injectable schizophrenia treatment portfolio. Teva has also announced the strategic addition of BXCL-501, a dexmedetomidine sublingual film program acquired from BioXcel Therapeutics. These developments support the company’s ambition to expand treatment options in areas with significant medical needs and build a broader portfolio of innovative medicines.
Improved Gross Margins Support Teva’s Growth Strategy
Teva reported third-quarter 2026 total revenues of approximately $4.4 billion, representing a 2% decrease compared with the same quarter in 2025. The decline was primarily associated with lower global generics revenues, particularly increased competition affecting lenalidomide capsules in the United States. However, stronger performance from innovative medicines partially offset the pressure on overall revenue. The company’s gross profit increased by 6% to $2.44 billion, compared with $2.304 billion in the third quarter of 2025. Gross profit margin improved to 55.5% from 51.4% in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. Non-GAAP gross profit margin also expanded to 58.7%, an increase of 345 basis points year over year, reflecting a more favorable product mix and higher contributions from innovative medicines. For the full year 2026, Teva now expects total revenues between $16.7 billion and $17.0 billion, compared with its previous guidance of $16.5 billion to $16.85 billion. The company expects its biosimilars business to generate more than $800 million in revenue during 2026, reaching its original 2027 revenue objective one year ahead of schedule. Through its Pivot to Growth strategy, Teva continues to prioritize innovative drug development, commercial expansion, operational efficiency and sustainable financial performance. The latest results demonstrate the growing importance of AUSTEDO, AJOVY and UZEDY in its business transformation. Continued investment in neuroscience, immunology and biosimilars is expected to support the company’s long-term pharmaceutical growth objectives.
