Resonant Clinical Solutions announced the acquisition of Creapharm Bioservices from Myonex, strengthening its European biorepository, cryogenic storage and advanced-therapy support capabilities. The transaction expands Resonant’s ability to provide specialized sample lifecycle services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies managing increasingly complex clinical programs. Creapharm Bioservices, based in Bailly-Romainvilliers, France, specializes in biobanking and cryogenic storage for biotherapeutics, Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) and biological samples. Its infrastructure includes vapor-phase nitrogen storage reaching temperatures of -196°C, mechanical freezer and cold storage, GMP sample storage, and GDP quality-control sample custody. The acquisition brings these capabilities into Resonant’s existing Biorepository business and strengthens the company’s European infrastructure for handling highly sensitive clinical materials. Resonant said the transaction is designed to complement its broader portfolio across Biorepository, Kitting, and Equipment & Ancillary services, enabling customers to access more specialized support across the clinical supply chain and sample lifecycle.
Creapharm Adds Specialized Cryogenic and Quality Infrastructure
The acquisition significantly expands the technical capabilities available through Resonant’s Biorepository offering. Creapharm Bioservices adds cryogenic storage ranging from -196°C to -20°C, providing infrastructure for biological materials that require tightly controlled temperature conditions throughout storage. The business also brings chain-of-custody capabilities, supporting the movement of materials from controlled room temperature environments through cryogenic storage while maintaining appropriate handling and tracking requirements. Its infrastructure includes GMP- and GDP-compliant capabilities, further supporting clinical programs where sample integrity, controlled processes and documented custody are critical. Creapharm also has experience supporting biotherapeutics and advanced therapies, as well as handling Class 1 and Class 2 genetically modified organisms (GMOs). For Resonant, these capabilities broaden the company’s ability to support customers working with highly sensitive biological materials and specialized therapeutic modalities. The integration also adds European infrastructure, technical expertise and established customer relationships to Resonant’s global Biorepository network, creating a stronger platform for organizations that require specialized storage and sample-management services during clinical development

With the Creapharm Bioservices acquisition, Resonant Clinical Solutions continues to expand its position as a global partner for clinical supply-chain and sample lifecycle services. The company has more than 850 employees across the U.S., U.K. and Europe and has supported more than 2,500 clinical trials, facilitated more than 20,000 customer-site shipments, and manages more than 100 million research assets in storage, according to the company. Its customer base includes pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, CROs, CDMOs, diagnostic laboratories and reference laboratories. The addition of Creapharm strengthens the European component of this network while adding specialized cryogenic storage, GMP/GDP infrastructure and advanced-therapy handling expertise. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Myonex said the transaction enables it to further concentrate on its core strengths and future strategy, while Resonant will integrate Creapharm into its Biorepository business. The deal ultimately strengthens Resonant’s ability to provide specialized clinical sample storage and lifecycle solutions for increasingly complex pharmaceutical and biotechnology programs worldwide
