Novartis announced it will present more than 65 company-sponsored and investigator-sponsored abstracts at the upcoming ASCO Annual Meeting 2026 and EHA Congress 2026, showcasing major advancements across radioligand therapy (RLT), breast cancer, prostate cancer, and hematologic diseases. The presentations reinforce the company’s growing position in precision oncology and highlight both marketed therapies and next-generation pipeline candidates aimed at improving long-term outcomes for cancer patients. Novartis stated that the data span multiple disease areas and treatment technologies, including targeted radiopharmaceuticals, CDK4/6 inhibitors, leukemia therapies, CAR-T programs, and rare blood disease treatments.
Pluvicto and Radioligand Therapy Lead Novartis Oncology Strategy
One of the most anticipated presentations at ASCO 2026 will feature updated findings from the Phase 3 PSMAddition study evaluating Pluvicto in patients with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC). The oral presentation will analyze efficacy outcomes according to disease volume and whether patients presented with de novo or recurrent disease. Pluvicto has already emerged as one of the leading radioligand therapies in prostate cancer, and Novartis is now pushing the therapy into earlier treatment settings where outcomes may improve further. The company believes radioligand therapy represents one of the most transformative technologies in oncology because it combines precision targeting with radioactive tumor destruction while limiting damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
Novartis will also present early clinical findings from the AcTION Phase 1 study evaluating 225Ac-PSMA-617, an investigational actinium-based radioligand therapy designed for patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The study includes patients previously treated with PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy and explores the potential of alpha-emitting isotopes to deliver more potent tumor-killing activity. According to Novartis executives, the company continues expanding its radiopharmaceutical platform as part of a long-term strategy to dominate the rapidly growing RLT market. The data presentations further demonstrate how Novartis is investing heavily in both current commercial therapies and next-generation radioactive precision medicines.
Kisqali and Scemblix Data Strengthen Breast Cancer and Leukemia Portfolio
In breast cancer, Novartis will present new biomarker findings from the landmark NATALEE trial involving Kisqali in hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer. The oral ASCO presentation will focus on the prognostic and predictive impact of baseline gene expression across one of the largest CDK4/6 inhibitor datasets generated to date. Researchers are evaluating how tumor biology influences recurrence risk and treatment response, potentially enabling more personalized therapy selection in the future. Additional real-world studies involving Kisqali will also examine outcomes in African American patients and lower socioeconomic populations, areas where treatment disparities continue to impact survival outcomes in metastatic breast cancer.
Meanwhile, updated long-term data from the ASC4FIRST trial will showcase the continued efficacy and safety profile of Scemblix in newly diagnosed chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic phase (CML-CP). The 144-week analysis compares Scemblix against investigator-selected tyrosine kinase inhibitors and highlights the drug’s durable responses and tolerability. Scemblix is considered an important next-generation leukemia therapy because of its unique STAMP inhibition mechanism, which differs from conventional TKIs. Novartis believes the therapy may become increasingly important as physicians seek safer long-term treatment options for chronic leukemia patients requiring lifelong disease management.
Pipeline Programs Expand Novartis Presence in Hematology and Immunology
Beyond commercial products, Novartis will also present important pipeline data at EHA 2026 across hematology and autoimmune diseases. The company plans to showcase Phase 3 findings for Ianalumab in immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), updated long-term results for Fabhalta in paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), and early clinical data for Rapcabtagene autoleucel, a rapidly manufactured autologous CD19 CAR-T therapy being studied in severe refractory autoimmune diseases. Novartis will additionally present data from the Phase 2 MANIFEST study evaluating Pelabresib in myelofibrosis patients who previously failed JAK inhibitor therapy.
