Dr. Chaubey joins Nabsys following an accomplished career spanning leadership positions across the genomics industry. Most recently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Bionano Genomics, she played a leading role in advancing the adoption of Optical Genome Mapping (OGM) through scientific collaborations, clinical validation studies, and numerous peer-reviewed publications. Earlier, she served as Head of Cytogenomics at PerkinElmer Genomics, where she led the development and commercialization of multiple innovative genomic testing platforms, including low-pass whole-genome sequencing assays, non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) solutions, and advanced assays for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy.
She also directed cytogenomics laboratories and currently maintains several academic appointments supporting molecular diagnostics and genomic medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Chaubey has authored or co-authored more than 100 scientific publications, abstracts, and book chapters, while contributing to professional organizations including the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, Association for Molecular Pathology, and the College of American Pathologists. Her expertise in CLIA- and CAP-regulated laboratory environments further strengthens Nabsys’ efforts to develop clinically validated genome mapping workflows.
