M•care Brings Maternal Monitoring Into the Home

At the center of the system is the M•wrap wearable, which is worn around the abdomen and uses embedded electrodes to capture fetal and maternal heart signals. Those signals are transmitted to Marani Health’s digital platform, allowing healthcare providers to remotely review full heart tracings through the M•care Provider Portal. Patients can use the M•wrap App to view average heart-rate results and record fetal movements. The platform also incorporates remote biometric information, digital assessments and communication tools intended to maintain connections between patients and their care teams.
