Notably, in a subgroup of patients with tumors ≤3 cm and no prior kidney cancer, recurrence-free rates reached 89.4%, highlighting the effectiveness of the therapy in early-stage disease. A small proportion of patients required repeat procedures, further supporting the feasibility of cryoablation as a repeatable and manageable intervention.
