BEIJING, CHINA, April 27, 2026
Huahui Health has announced a global exclusive option, license, and collaboration agreement with BeOne Medicines for the development of HH160, a novel trispecific antibody targeting PD-1, CTLA-4, and VEGF-A for cancer immunotherapy. Under the agreement, BeOne Medicines will gain exclusive global rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize HH160, reinforcing a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating next-generation oncology innovation. The deal includes an upfront payment of $20 million, with an additional $100 million upon option exercise, and potential milestone payments of up to $1.9 billion, along with tiered royalties. This collaboration highlights the growing importance of multi-target biologics and global partnerships in advancing cutting-edge cancer therapies.
Trispecific Antibody HH160 Targets Multiple Cancer Pathways
HH160 represents a next-generation trispecific antibody developed using Huahui Health’s proprietary PolyBoost™ platform, designed to simultaneously target PD-1, CTLA-4, and VEGF-A, three well-established pathways in cancer immunotherapy and tumor angiogenesis. By integrating these mechanisms into a single therapeutic molecule, HH160 aims to deliver enhanced anti-tumor efficacy while reducing systemic toxicity, addressing limitations associated with combination therapies.
The drug’s “three-in-one” mechanism of action is expected to improve tumor-specific targeting, optimize immune activation, and inhibit tumor blood vessel formation, creating a synergistic therapeutic effect. Positive preclinical results presented at a major oncology conference demonstrated the therapy’s potential to achieve superior tumor control and improved safety profiles, positioning HH160 as a promising candidate in the competitive immuno-oncology landscape.
Strategic Collaboration Accelerates Global Drug Development
The partnership enables BeOne Medicines to leverage its global clinical development, regulatory, and commercialization expertise to advance HH160 through clinical trials and regulatory pathways worldwide. Huahui Health, with its integrated drug discovery and development capabilities, will continue to play a key role in early-stage innovation while benefiting from significant financial support and milestone-driven incentives.
The agreement reflects a broader trend in the biopharmaceutical industry, where companies are increasingly forming strategic alliances to de-risk development and accelerate time-to-market for complex biologics. Additionally, the collaboration includes provisions for future financing discussions, indicating potential long-term alignment between the two companies. This model of co-development and licensing is critical for advancing high-cost, high-risk oncology programs, ensuring that promising therapies reach patients more efficiently.
Advancing Biopharma Innovation in Immuno-Oncology
The development of HH160 underscores the rapid evolution of multi-specific antibody technologies, which are transforming the field of precision oncology by enabling targeted, mechanism-driven therapies.
From a GxP perspective, the program will require strict adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) during clinical trials and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for biologic production, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance at every stage. The collaboration also highlights the increasing importance of global clinical development strategies, particularly for oncology therapies that require large-scale, multi-regional trials. As cancer treatment continues to shift toward personalized and immune-based approaches, HH160 has the potential to become a differentiated therapeutic option, offering improved outcomes for patients with complex malignancies. By combining innovative science, strategic investment, and global expertise, the Huahui Health–BeOne Medicines partnership represents a significant step forward in delivering next-generation cancer therapies to patients worldwide.
