Evotec SE and Plectonic Biotech have entered into a research collaboration to explore a new generation of T-cell-engaging approaches for the treatment of solid tumors. The collaboration combines Evotec’s integrated drug-discovery capabilities and oncology expertise with Plectonic’s proprietary TriTAC™ platform, which is designed to generate multispecific molecules capable of directing T cells toward tumor cells. The companies will investigate novel therapeutic concepts intended to address challenges associated with existing T-cell engager approaches, including tumor heterogeneity, target expression and the need to achieve effective immune-cell activation within solid tumor microenvironments. Under the research collaboration, Evotec and Plectonic will work together to explore selected tumor targets using Plectonic’s proprietary multispecific antibody technology.
