RALEIGH, N.C. | May 28, 2026
Parexel announced that two oncology-focused research posters have been accepted for presentation at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago, highlighting the company’s continued commitment to advancing evidence-based cancer care and improving clinical development strategies. Alongside the scientific presentations, Parexel unveiled its new “From Insights to Life” campaign, a patient-focused initiative designed to reinforce the company’s mission of helping biopharmaceutical sponsors accelerate innovative treatments while keeping patient experiences at the center of clinical research.
New Oncology Research Explores Regulatory and Safety Challenges
Parexel’s first ASCO presentation examines deficiencies in oncology marketing applications that have resulted in U.S. FDA Complete Response Letters, providing valuable insights into common regulatory challenges that can delay drug approvals.
The second study evaluates the real-world risk of interstitial lung disease (ILD) and pneumonitis associated with trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) compared with trastuzumab in patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. Through real-world evidence and propensity score-matched analysis, the research aims to support more informed treatment decisions and strengthen safety monitoring strategies in oncology care.
Extensive Oncology Development Experience Supports Research Leadership
The ASCO presentations build on Parexel’s extensive oncology development expertise. Over the past five years, the company has supported more than 560 clinical studies, involving over 104,000 patients and 26,000 clinical sites across more than 50 countries. During the same period, Parexel Biotech contributed to the data packages supporting multiple oncology drug approvals by both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
Company leaders noted that translating complex clinical and real-world evidence into actionable development decisions remains a critical component of bringing new cancer therapies to patients faster and more efficiently.
“From Insights to Life” Campaign Highlights Patient-Centered Development
In parallel with its scientific contributions at ASCO, Parexel launched “From Insights to Life,” a new campaign focused on the real-life experiences of patients living between diagnosis and treatment. The initiative features authentic patient-inspired stories across diverse disease areas and demographics, emphasizing the importance of designing clinical trials that address patient needs beyond traditional clinical endpoints.
The campaign expands upon Parexel’s award-winning Insights Generation Engine platform and will continue throughout 2026 across digital, social, and major industry events. According to the company, the effort reflects a broader commitment to ensuring that patient perspectives remain a guiding force throughout the clinical development process and in the delivery of life-changing therapies worldwide.
