BeOne Medicines Ltd. (Nasdaq: ONC; HKEX: 06160; SSE: 688235), a global oncology company, announced a voluntary agreement with the U.S. Government aimed at expanding access to innovative cancer medicines for American patients while strengthening the company’s U.S. manufacturing footprint. The agreement builds on BeOne’s ongoing investments in research, development and manufacturing and is designed to support the company’s ability to deliver cancer medicines at scale. As part of the agreement, BeOne will participate in the GENEROUS (GENErating cost Reductions fOr U.S. Medicaid) Model and has committed to pricing future FDA-approved products in line with other key developed markets. The company said the agreement reflects its broader focus on improving patient access while continuing to invest in the infrastructure required to support its expanding oncology portfolio. BeOne’s participation in the initiative places patient access, U.S. manufacturing and long-term oncology innovation at the center of its latest U.S. strategy.

BeOne Strengthens U.S. Manufacturing Footprint

BeOne Medicines is also expanding its U.S. manufacturing capabilities, supporting greater supply continuity and manufacturing flexibility for its growing portfolio of cancer medicines. Under its onshoring agreement with the U.S. Government, the company has secured an exemption from Section 232 pharmaceutical tariffs, recognizing its significant and ongoing investment in U.S. manufacturing. BeOne recently announced an additional $300 million onshoring investment in its flagship clinical and commercial-stage manufacturing and research and development facility in Hopewell, New Jersey. The latest investment brings the company’s total U.S. manufacturing commitment to more than $1 billion. The Hopewell expansion is expected to add small-molecule manufacturing capacity and approximately 120 full-time jobs, while increasing BeOne’s ability to manufacture medicines domestically. The expanded facility is also intended to strengthen the company’s research and development infrastructure and support advancement of its broad oncology pipeline.

U.S. Investment Supports Broad Oncology Pipeline

The agreement comes as BeOne continues to expand its presence across the U.S. scientific, clinical and manufacturing ecosystem. The company employs more than 2,000 people in the United States as part of a global workforce exceeding 12,000 employees across six continents. BeOne reported that it generated nearly $2 billion in direct U.S. economic impact in 2025 and invested approximately $1 billion in U.S. research and development during the year. Its oncology development activities include 93 clinical trials conducted at approximately 1,100 sites across 45 states and one U.S. territory, with support from more than 650 investigators. The company’s pipeline includes more than 35 clinical- and commercial-stage assets spanning hematology and solid tumors. Continued investment in U.S. manufacturing and research infrastructure is expected to provide additional capacity as BeOne advances these programs and works toward bringing additional oncology treatments to patients.
