Benjamin Eskenazi, MD, FACS has been named to the faculty of the 14th Annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium, organized by the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics and scheduled for November 5-7, 2026, at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Eskenazi, a double board-certified plastic surgeon and facial anatomy educator, will participate as a co-instructor in the pre-symposium Anatomy & Injection Masterclass on November 5, where he will perform live injection demonstrations. He is also scheduled to deliver a MainStage lecture on November 7 addressing full-face treatment sequencing for aesthetic providers.
Anatomy Masterclass Combines Dissection and Injection Training
The Anatomy & Injection Masterclass is a five-hour educational program combining cadaver dissection, live patient injection demonstrations and real-time facial ultrasound. The course is led by facial anatomist and educator Professor Sebastian Cotofana, MD, PhD, PhD, with faculty covering facial anatomy and injection approaches across multiple regions. Eskenazi will perform live demonstrations alongside other faculty, with the program addressing neurotoxin and filler techniques involving areas such as the forehead, glabella, crow’s feet, temples, tear troughs, cheeks, nasolabial folds, lips, chin and jawline. The educational format is designed to connect anatomical structures and tissue planes with practical injection techniques and safety considerations.
MainStage Lecture Addresses Full-Face Treatment Sequencing
Eskenazi’s MainStage presentation, titled “Sequencing the Full Face — What You Can Undo, and What You Can’t,” will open the symposium’s Saturday morning session on Combination Therapies and Regenerative Aesthetics. The lecture will focus on how practitioners can sequence treatments across the face and distinguish interventions that can subsequently be adjusted or reversed from those that may have more lasting effects. The 2026 IAFA program brings together physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and dentists involved in facial aesthetics and includes lectures, live demonstrations and hands-on workshops covering injection safety, complication management, combination treatment planning and aesthetic technologies.

Eskenazi Brings Anatomy-Focused Education Experience
Eskenazi’s participation builds on his experience as an aesthetic medicine educator and cadaver-lab instructor. According to the announcement, he has served as faculty and proctor for nearly 100 cadaver labs and participated in the Evolus “Evolution Tour” in 2023, which provided educational programs to more than 1,000 aesthetic providers across 65 cities and 30 states. He has also contributed to educational resources concerning facial vascular anatomy, injection techniques and recognition and management of adverse events. Eskenazi is the founder and CEO of Avabello Aesthetics in Miami Beach, where his practice includes surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and aesthetic procedures. His faculty role at the 2026 IAFA symposium adds further anatomy-focused training to the event’s program for clinicians working in facial aesthetics.
